The buying of yet another vase or picture never seems "over the top" to ladies - they live to acquire.

Look at the difference between a man's and a lady's apartment.

Furniture has to be just right, ornaments have to be displayed correctly, colours have to match or contrast (ask how that works!!) etc..

Men - give up, give in - if you get together with a lady - she will acquire - and you will pay! She is building a nest in which she and offspring will be content. Hopefully you will be too.
