Britain should become Europe's Offshore Tax Haven 

Taxes should be indirect

Most countries have "offshore Tax havens".

Britain is offshore from Continental Europe.

Britain is part of the European Economic Community.

The European Economic Community should have its own "offshore Tax havens"

Britain should therefore become the offshore tax haven for the EEC.

Because:

The politicians of the EEC will need such a place soon

bullet

Industrialists of the EEC will also need it

bullet

As will villains and crooks - or have I just mentioned them??

bullet

It fits the geographical rules

bullet

It could adapt - to fit the commercial rules - particularly if they prove lucrative

bullet

Britain could then perhaps, even ignore the Taxes should be indirect - rule.

I proposed this to the Monster Raving Looney Party, but haven't seen it in their Manifesto, maybe they are mad!
