British cooking was (for years) universally disparaged - probably rightly so.

Yorkshire Pudding is not all that tasty, and originally took the form of a belly-filler. From such humble beginnings, should grow - a Globally recognised industry. Because - Brits can cook Yorkshire Pudding, its a niche-specialisation and all that is now needed is Global Marketing and UK cooking to create - an empire.

See Brits can't build cars for an understanding of a country trying to be all things to all peoples, and getting into an industry which it doesn't have the application or inclination to succeed in.

Conversely - the Yorkshire Pudding industry, should be British (like Champagne is French), is not too technical for the British mind and could probably survive months of strikes per year (unless the marketplace gets too demanding)
