Living in a society and/or a relationship and/or a family etc... we have to compromise, a lot of the time.

Sometimes its good to realise that you're compromising too much, and its making you unhappy.

And on those occasions - BE SELFISH!!

Notice the emphasis on "sometimes" and "occasions" - you don't have to be too/very selfish - that would make you horrible to live with/whatever.
