Another - driver story - this one is about my regular taxi-driver.

He used to scan the local papers for "bargains", and would buy them.

Over a 6+ year period I can remember him telling me about "the latest bargain" many times "it's really the best of its type", "its got this and that", "in the shops it would cost twice what I paid" etc...

And then he started repeating himself.

What I mean is - he bought the same "bargains" almost every year.

He bought 4 pianos, 5 or 6 Hi-fi's, numerous lawn mowers, electric drills and the like.

Generally we only need 1 or 2 of these things in a lifetime - buy 5 or 6 of them at bargain prices - and they're not bargains.
